SECTION 1 – OVERVIEW OF THE FIRM

The Firm’s Registered address is Trewenton, Bickley Park Road, Bromley, Kent BR1 2AY

The Firm also has other premises at The Cowshed, Frieslawn Farm Centre, Hodsoll Street, Sevenoaks, TN15 7LH

The premises will be used for –

  • Client interviews
  • Team meetings
  • Presentations
  • Training sessions

The property is owned by Frieslawn Farm Centre Court and the Property Manager is Strutt and Parker Contact details are 01227 473 739

The property is leased from the owner.

1.3

BCP COORDINATOR

 In the event of a disaster / emergency the implementation of the Business Continuity Plan will be the responsibility of Jeremy Marsh (BCP Coordinator). Upon notification or awareness of an event the BCP Coordinator will commence the continuity process.

In the event of the BCP Coordinator being on holiday / off sick, implementation will be the responsibility of Stuart Brown

COMMUNICATION PROCESS

 Upon notification or awareness of an event the BCP Coordinator will contact the Senior Managers / Principles of the Firm, brief them on the situation and instruct them of the mitigation arrangements relevant to the incident.

The BCP Coordinator will then contact the Staff and inform them of the mitigation arrangements.

The contingency plans will then be carried out depending on the nature of the incident and the following contacted if appropriate –

  • Contact clients to reschedule or relocate appointments
  • Inform Product Providers
  • Inform SimplyBiz Services Plc
  • Inform FCA if appropriate

3.1

The following risks have been identified by the Firm and in each case there is potential for

  • Loss of business
  • Disruption to the business
  • Inability to comply with FCA requirements.

  • Only the ability of Jeremy Marsh to function have any impact.
  • No physical or systems failures have any impact since there are multiple back up data resources and offices

SECTION 4 – TESTING AND REVIEWING THE PROCESS

 

4.1

TESTING AND REVIEWING THE PROCESS

 

The BCP Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Plan and a review will be carried out annually.

The Plan will be issued to all existing and new staff all of whom have a responsibility to familiarise themselves with the content and their responsibilities therein.

Identification of any other risks by members of staff should be referred to the BCP Coordinator in order that they may be included in the next review of the Plan.
